OverviewThe Project Manager works closely with students in ENGR 305 -
Appropriate Technology, and other classes to coordinate and conduct
projects on the grounds.
DutiesPosition-Specific Duties
Act as a liason between the CCAT staff and co-directors to students and teachers for class projects Help manage projects on Volunteer Fridays Procures materials for projects Helps draft and design plans for projects Writes and sends out our weekly Volunteer Friday Newsletter Assists with other jobs within the CCAT Physical Site Branch
General CCAT duties for all employees- Attend regular employee and branch meetings
- Assist in tabling and outreach efforts
- Assist in the preparation of volunteer and employee meals a few times a semester
- Assist other employees, volunteers, and Co-Directors as necessary
Requirements- Must be an HSU student during your employment
Helpful Experience- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Able to follow up on email correspondences quickly and professionally
- Ability to lead and manage projects
- Experience with Appropriate Technology and Natural Building desired but not required
Schedule and Pay- Starts August 20th, 2012. Preference given to candidates who can begin training late May / June.
- 7 hours / week
- $10 / hour
- Flexible scheduling, to be coordinated with Co-Directors and your branch
